LETTERFORMS - Zipper Face

This project was to create a handmade wordmark using unconventional materials to embody an emotion. The goal for Zipper Face was to show horror or fear. The name Zipper Face comes from a fairly unknown horror film that was made in the early 90s. This design was created through a variety of different attempts using uniquely textured material to write on and experimenting with how different media reacts with the material. The idea behind the final attempt was to create a word mark that looked like blood seeping into clothing.
