CONCEPT BRIEF: Design a logo for the CSU Chico PRISMS grant program.

This project was to design a logo for the 6.5 Million dollar grant that the CSU Chico Education Department received.  PRISMS stands for "Promoting Rural Improvement in Secondary Mathematics and Science." The logo is designed to reflect a strand of wheat so it will relate to the rural aspect of the program. The wheat is also meant to appear as open books to imply learning and education. The typeface Futura was chosen because of it geometric forms and the plus sign is used instead of an "and" to relate the logo back to the math and science aspect that the program is trying to promote.
