CONCEPT BRIEF: Design an emblem for the School of Education to be used on a variety of media

EMBLEM - School of Education

This project was to design an emblem for the School of Education that reflected education and avoided certain cliché symbols. In addition it had to incorporate their tagline, “Preparing Educators: Effective, Reflective, Engaged.” The final design uses the typeface Meta and features a tree emerging from a book. The breaks in the circle are to allow the eye to come into the circle and back out. In addition, the tree was designed in a simple way to reflect the Chico University Flame logo but still allow it to stand on its own.
