CONCEPT BRIEF: Design a logo for the CSU Chico School of Education program, Prisms

PRISMS - Logo and Branding

This project was to design a logo for the 6.5 Million dollar grant program that the CSU Chico Education Department received. PRISMS stands for "Promoting Rural Improvement in Secondary Mathematics and Science." The logo is designed to appear as several things. The first being a strand of wheat so it will relate to the rural aspect of the program. The second thing I hope the viewer will see are either building blocks or open books, both pertaining to the growth of education in rural areas. Finally, the triangle enclosed the symbol just to bring in the word Prisms because it is a three part program.
